Children's Program Receives Special Recognition

We are pleased to announce that the University of Rochester Pediatric Residents Group awarded the Pediatric Links with the Community Advocacy Award to CP Rochester’s Children Program. From about 50 possible recipients, the residents chose CP Rochester’s Augustin Children Center “in recognition of outstanding teaching efforts and excellence in caring for the children of Rochester”. The Children’s Program was presented a plaque and given a special reception by the University of Rochester Pediatrics Residents.

Special recognition for this award goes to Martha Unrath, Tina Bennett, and the incredible staff in the Children’s Program for providing the opportunity for pediatric residents at the University of Rochester to spend time in our classrooms, and for giving them first-hand knowledge of an early childhood, integrated setting with the exceptional teaching that occurs here every day!
