CP Rochester’s Day Habilitation supports individuals with disabilities in achieving their goals and dreams. Our person-centered philosophy supports a constantly changing and individual-driven curriculum. Each person is encouraged to work in both large and small groups in order to access peer support and work with staff. Our focus is teaching skills to support both individual and group growth.
We offer a variety of classes including: Art (where the teacher's focus is creating art through using different mediums), Adult Basic Education classes taught by a certified teacher, and Music conducted by a music therapist from Hochstein. In addition, we also have volunteer connections within the community which provide opportunities for individuals attending CP Rochester's Day Habilitation to give back (including ABVI, Salvation Army, Elks, and Foodlink).
